The mission of Mosaic Movement Collective is to amplify and uplift BIPOC voices and presence through the art of dance in Austin’s community and beyond. To bring innovative and diverse technical movement, shared through the lens of marginalized groups, that represents those who are underrepresented, and provide safe, high-quality opportunities for communities that are still excluded.
MISSION
MMC’s vision is to bring cultural and social awareness, as well as BIPOC representation, to the Austin dance scene. Through performances, outreach, instruction, and an emerging artist fellowship, BIPOC and marginalized groups will experience dance that authentically reflects their livelihoods.
